Platform Roadmap

A Living Document

This document outlines our vision for the future of the Feature Platform. Our priorities are driven by client feedback and our mission to build the future of verifiable viewer engagement. As a living document, these priorities may evolve.

Our Vision

Our goal is to create a comprehensive ecosystem for Smart Content (Patent Pending) that empowers creators and brands to build deeper, more meaningful relationships with their audiences. We are moving towards a future where content is not just consumed, but is a fully interactive, programmable, and rewarding experience. This roadmap details the key initiatives that will get us there.

Now (In Progress / Near Term)

Features and improvements we are actively developing or planning for the immediate future.

For Developers & Integrators

  • Headless Locker API: Providing direct, programmatic access for tenants to build fully native asset galleries and experiences within their applications.
  • Official Tracking SDK (v1): Finalizing our lightweight JavaScript SDK to standardize client-side event tracking and simplify web integration.
  • Enhanced Webhook Payloads: Adding more detailed context and metadata to our webhook events to provide richer, more actionable data to tenant systems.

For Campaign Managers

  • Expanded Campaign Templates: Introducing new pre-configured templates for common engagement scenarios (e.g., "Daily Login Rewards," "Multi-part Quests").

Next (Planned for the Coming Quarters)

High-priority features that are in the design and planning phase.

For Developers & Integrators

  • Server-Side SDKs (Node.js, Python): Releasing official libraries to make server-side event tracking and API interaction simpler and more robust.
  • GraphQL API Endpoint: Introducing a GraphQL endpoint for the Headless Locker to allow for more flexible and efficient data fetching of asset and user data.
  • "Hidden Assets" Feature: Enhancing the Locker API to include "unclaimed" or "locked" assets, enabling tenants to create "quest logs" and drive specific user behaviors.
  • Commerce Integration: Native redemption integrations for major platforms (Fanatics, Shopify) to allow users to redeem digital assets for physical merchandise.

For Campaign Managers

  • Self-Service Management Portal (v1): The first version of a tenant-facing dashboard for creating, managing, and monitoring campaigns and activities without requiring assistance from the Feature support team.
  • Self-service Creative Asset CMS: A dedicated portal for uploading and managing creative assets (images, videos) for campaigns, replacing manual email workflows.
  • Advanced Rule Engine Capabilities: Adding more complex conditions and triggers to the campaign rule engine (e.g., sequenced events, time-based conditions).

Later (Exploring for the Future)

Visionary initiatives we are researching to push the boundaries of Smart Content.

For Developers & Integrators

  • Blockchain Agnosticism: Investigating the architecture required to offer the platform's engagement and analytics tools as a standalone service, independent of a blockchain backend.
  • Custom Smart Contract Deployment: Exploring pathways for tenants to deploy their own custom smart contracts onto the platform for unique, specialized campaigns.

For Campaign Managers & Data Analysts

  • Real-Time Content Intelligence: Evolving our Content Intelligence pillar from analyzing pre-provided files to processing live video streams, enabling autonomous issuance based on real-time events.
  • Interactive Engagement Modules: Researching and prototyping pre-built, themeable modules for tenants to easily add interactive elements like mini-games, leaderboards, and community polling to their experiences.
  • Advanced Analytics Dashboard: A self-service portal for tenants to explore the rich engagement data captured by the platform, with tools for segmentation, funnel analysis, and cohort retention.
